Another repair strory : www.youtube.com NOTE : To open a stucked tray, for taking blocked CD's inside the unit by example... simply use a little flat screwdriver and gently turn the gear under the unit, to tray will normaly open if nothing is broken or too misadjusted. Don't force ! Never reverse (upside-down) the unit if CD's are inside ! Because when the player is powered up, the disc table turns for determining the disc table position. On some models if the disc table position can't be determinated the tray won't open. Also, check the white flat wire and the white gear under the disc table, often loosing or had distorded teeths. The gear part number is : 4-957-284-01 (495728401), or IW246 for compatible available at kpcomponents.ca.
